A teen from Washington State has become a controversial Twitter hero after taking a stand against racism in her high school art class. Brigitte Yasamin's story begins yesterday when she noticed the student next to her in pottery class painting a confederate flag on a ceramic box. She took to Twitter to share her anger and disgust.

"Im in my pottery class rn and we're making boxes as our current project and the bitch next to me box is confederate flag themed I'm....sick," she wrote.

She then shared a photo of the box. You'll be....sick, too.

Instead of sitting idly, Brigitte took matters into her own hands.

"Oooppsss" she wrote. I'm no detective, but this doesn't seem like an accident.

Her following tweets confirm that smashing the box was 100% intentional:

Seems like maybe her art teacher doesn't have sympathy for racists either.

No word yet on what the consequences will be. But don't worry, because as we know by now, Brigitte DGAF.

And she has no plans to apologize.

And in case you were wondering, no, she doesn't live in the South.

Brigitte is blowing up on Twitter and being called a "legend" and a "hero."

Of course, there are some people defending the confederate flag and calling out the teen for "smashing someone else's personal property."

But others aren't having it.

And this person made an excellent point.

So did this person:

Whether or not we all agree that this teen deserves a "medal," can we at least agree she deserves an A in pottery class? That smashed confederate flag on the floor is museum-worthy. This girl might be the next Andy Warhol.
