It’s the end of an era, y’all. Microsoft may be getting rid of Microsoft Paint in the Windows 10 update. And people are feeling some way about it.
Microsoft announced the discontinuation of Paint on its website, noting it among a list of features that will be "removed and deprecated" when the Windows 10 update is released in the fall.
Paint is marked as deprecated, so it will be in the fall update but won’t be updated...and could be phased out.
Microsoft Paint has been around since Windows 1.0, 32 years ago! Paint 3D will continue to be part of Windows 10's update.
