Look, flirting with people on dating apps can be a lot of pressure. You're already nervous, and in this digital age of ours, if you say something stupid there's a good chance you'll end up the subject of a viral news story. Wouldn't it be easier if you could just pay someone to flirt for you?

Well, you're in luck. Meet Meredith Golden.

Golden is a "dating app ghostwriter." She crafts the perfect bios for her clients, swipes for them, and even takes over their messages and has full-on conversations with dating app matches.

Yup. That nice man chatting you up on Tinder might actually be a 40-something mother of two who lives on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

It might seem a little off-putting that a dating coach is impersonating her clients, but Golden swears it's not weird.

"It’s so surface level that I don’t worry about that at all. There is no information that should be given out on a dating app that goes past surface level interest. Are you married? Do you have kids? What are your hobbies? Everything else should be in person," she said in an interview with the New York Post.

So how much will Golden's help cost you? You know what they say: "You can't put a price on love." Unless you're a dating app ghostwriter, apparently. According to New York Magazine, Golden charges her clients $900 for the first month of her services, $700 for the second, and $500 every month after that.

What do you think, internet? Would you feel weird to find out your Bumble messages were coming from an imposter? Has the modern dating scene finally gone too far? Should we all just adopt a dog and go live out our days in a secluded lakeside cabin? I'm going to go get a coffee and ponder all of this.
