An English bar called "Filthy's Newcastle" lived up to their name with a straight-up filthy response to perhaps the most jealous individual in the United Kingdom. It began when the awful boyfriend got in touch with them over what appears to a private message:
"Hi, my girlfriend is headed with a hen party this weekend to Filthys," wrote the man, and Urban Dictionary will kindly explain that that means bachelorette party.
"I was wondering if I would be able to pay a staff member to keep an eye on her and make sure theres [sic] no men at their table etc," continued the man, drowning in cash and short on trust. Naturally, he asked that the bar not "let the group know" that they're being spied on.
Instead of enabling the man, Filthy's declined his request the most public way possible. Here's their Facebook post, dragging the man so everyone could shame him:
"For anybody else considering offering us cash to casually stalk their partners.. we are a bar, not private investigators/professional perverts," they wrote.
"We can however add some finishing touches to the reserved area such as personalized name cards & bubbly on arrival!"
Shame with a touch of self-promotion, that's marketing 101. Commenters were shocked and awed:
No word on whether the lady saw her boyfriend's message and realized it was him. We'll wait eagerly for the filthy update.
