This Valentine's Day let's take a moment to remember all of our loved ones we have lost... to relationships. RIP.

Ben Hull, a student from the UK, recently lost his good friend, Adam Milner, to a new relationship. To memorialize his late friend, Hull did the most natural thing: he held a funeral for him.

He tweeted out photos of the event, including a table set up in Adam's honor, displaying some of his favorite things, like video games and a pack of cigs:

“We all live on a floor together and spend a lot of time going out to nights out and all sorts,” Hull, 19, told BuzzFeed News. “Then suddenly he got a girlfriend, and we saw him less and less.”

At the funeral, Hull gave a speech dedicated to his “fallen friend” and invited others to speak. Then the guys all sang “Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You” a group. It's weirdly kind of moving.

Apparently the late Adam Milner was not invited to the event, and instead spent the evening in his room—I can't confirm if his gf was there with him, but she probably was (that's soooo Adam!). “We didn’t think it would be right for him to attend,” said Hull.

Luckily he was a good sport about the whole thing. “Afterwards, Adam thanked us all for our hard work,” said Hull. “He also said he would look over all of us.”

He said that Adam's girlfriend was also understanding and even amused. “She knows what we are like,” he said.

She sounds like a keeper. My condolences, Adam's friends. May he rest in peace.
