Most of us would probably at the very least be annoyed if a random person we gave our number to kept texting us multiple times a week despite two months of unanswered messages, but not this woman. She found a way to turn those persistent texts into inspiration.
On Monday, actress Madison Iseman, who stars on the CMT show Still The King, posted screen shots of the many, many texts she's received from a random guy she met to Twitter.
Iseman apparently gave the guy her number, but his excessive texts soon became a little too creepy for her tastes. So, she decided to change his name in her phone to make the texts feel a little more inspirational.
"Gave a random guy my number one night with the intention of never responding," Iseman wrote in her tweet. "Got creepy so I changed his name [to] God for a daily encouragement."
You have to admit, it's a lot better when God tells you to "have a successful day." (And hey, how often do you get asked to go on a hike by a divine figure?)
How can you not feel good when a voice from the heavens says, "Good morning gorgeous?"
We wonder if Madison reads "Have an awesome day" in a booming, God-like voice when she gets these texts. (We would.)
