Dating can be really awkward, but writer Priya-Alika Elias has a dating horror story so uncomfortable, it might inspire you to delete Tinder here and now.

Elias, who appropriately goes by "Cat Grandma" on Twitter, recounted the story of how she accidently ended up on a date with a very old man. And when I say "old," think less silver fox and more keeper of the crypt.

It started when Priya stumbled upon an innocuous profile on OKCupid, a free online dating website popular with millennials.

Despite not getting a clear picture of this dude's face, Priya decided to give it a shot. The two started making plans to meet in person, and that is when the first red flag arose.

The two settled on grabbing coffee instead, and the date was set.

Yep. It was Priya's date. And he wasn't what she was expecting. Let's just say the guy was more mature than she thought he was going to be.

Although Priya never learned his actual age, she gave an educated guess:

Anyway, back to the date.

Okay, that is all nice enough. Perhaps the two can just part ways having a sweet conversation that transcends the awkwardness of their large age gap.

But then things got weird.

No, like...really, really weird.

Several skull emojis indeed.

How the hell do you come back from that?

So how did this all end?

Yeah, sounds like a good plan.

Of course, Twitter was immediately skeptical of this story, but Priya insists that everything she tweeted was true.

Most of Twitter was just shocked.

and definitely disgusted.

Because honestly, bragging about your oral sex skills after knowing someone for 60 minutes is creepy no matter what your age is.

Welp. Just another reason to never go on another date. Ever.
