Something like 50% of marriages end in divorce. Oftentimes, this is because people grow apart over time. But sometimes, a marriage is doomed before it even begins. Maybe it's obvious incompatibilities, or subtle hints of trouble in paradise, but there's nothing more awkward than a wedding of a couple who clearly aren't going to make it. Thank God for the open bar!
In a popular Reddit thread, someone asked: "What wedding moment made you think: 'They are not going to last long'?"
1.) From cat9tail:
When the maid of honor professed her love for my brother during her toast at my brother's wedding... and her husband walked up to the head table, picked her up and carried her away before she could embarrass him further. They lasted about 3 months after that. My brother and his wife on the other hand are still happily married 20 years later.
