There a lot to unpack here. Of course there's an age gap of a decade. If you're 23, you're not mature enough to date a 33 year-old...or in this instance, this 33 year-old isn't mature enough to date anyone. A decade-long difference isn't a dealbreaker necessarily. I'm sure a 43 year-old and 53 year-old would have lots of lived experiences to discuss. But 23 and 33? What would a man who saw 'Scream' in theaters have in common with someone who just graduated college? That's red flag #1.
