If there's one gender stereotype that seems to hold some truth, it's this: in heterosexual partnerships, the female partner tends to take much better photos of their male partner than vice versa. Like so many stereotypes, there's some context here: patriarchal society conditions women to be more aware of physical appearance than men. Which is why hetero women seem to be generally more aware of the importance of things like lighting and angles than hetero men. Of course like all stereotypes, there are many exceptions.
