Married couples fight, it's inevitable. Petty squabbles are a dime a dozen, but how far is too far to push your spouse without things getting really ugly. Reddit user u/Dred-Scott-69 is currently in a major battle with his wife for taking away his brand new big-screen TV just days before the Super Bowl. He retaliated by taking away her car, and now he's turning to the internet to ask if he is justified or just a total jerk.
He writes:
I have always spilt my income 50-50 with my wife. She is religious (Baptist) but I am not.
This has never been a problem for us, until this summer when I got a large raise at my job and I started buying things that she claimed were 'greedy' and 'consumerist.' I just told her I'm using my share of the income and I can buy what I want.
