They say "once a cheater, always a cheater." But there are exceptions to every rule. And while most people will advise anyone who has been cheated on to pack their bags and not look back, many people don't take this advice. Many of them learn the hard way that cheaters never change. But apparently, some cheaters really do mend their ways. Either that, or they just get better at covering their tracks :-/

The relationship went downhill over the course of 2 years and it ended. Unfortunately, cheating (in the majority of relationships anyway) changes the entire dynamic of the relationship permanently and makes it hard to foster trust and respect again
