Forget everything you learned about dating bisexual men from Sex and the City, because women who have actually dated these guys are calling them the best in bed.
In a study led by Dr. Maria Pallotta-Chiarolli from the Deakin School of Health and Social Development in Australia, 78 women ranging from 16- to 78-years-old and from various sexual and cultural backgrounds all discussed their experiences dating men who had identified as bisexuals. The reviews were glowing.
The men, according to these real women whose dialogue wasn't largely written by Emmy winners, said that the bisexual men were "more sexually attentive and emotionally available."
Well, Carrie did say that her bi bf was a good kisser, but the women expressed more than just a good makeout. According to Pallotta-Chiarolli, "many of the women also said they thought the men made better fathers, as well." As the blog LGBTQ Nation wrote:
“These mixed-orientation relationships, or what I call MOREs, sit outside the boundaries of what many may consider a ‘normal’ relationship, whether it’s straight or gay,” Pallotta-Chiarolli said. “What the research has shown is that they are very real and valid and deserve our attention, support and understanding... we need to lift the stigma for the women who choose to be in relationships with bisexual men.”
So there it is. Maybe sexuality is just like crossing the street: it's better to look both ways.
