There's an unfortunate, Handmaids Tail-esque trend of brides feeling entitled to what their bridesmaids do with their bodies in the lead-up to a wedding. One former bridesmaid was pushed to her limit after she was was kicked out of the bridal party for cutting her hair for health-related reasons. So she decided to take the bride and groom to court over wedding-related expenses.

In a post shared on Reddit's "Am I The A**hole?" forum, the ex-bridesmaid explains that she was forced to spend over $700 on wedding-related expenses.

For my friend’s 3 day wedding, I had to buy three different dresses (including alterations, and specific shoes which totalled over $700. She also wanted specific hair styles for each day.

Back in March, she says her hair started falling out for health reasons. So she made the "difficult" decision to cut her hair.

Unfortunately starting in March my hair started to deteriorate. Due to health reasons my hair was falling out in chunks and in May i made the difficult decision to cut my hair. I told the bride about my decision two weeks before the wedding and she didn’t say anything bad.

About a week before the wedding, the bride expressed "concern" about her friend's new haircut.

The following week, she came over to my house and when she was about to leave, she brought up that she was concerned about my haircut and I told her it would look good even though I wouldn’t be uniform with the other bridesmaids.
