Weddings being interrupted is a common theme in romantic comedies, and far less common in real life. But it does happen. And while no bride or groom hopes to have their wedding dramatically interrupted by someone yelling "I object!," the surprise appearance of an uninvited guest, or any other type of melodrama, at least these unfortunate incidents make for a wedding that no guest will ever forget.
Someone asked Reddit: "Has anyone ever witnessed an objection at a wedding? What’s the juicy details?"

Both of them had, mmm, checkered pasts, as people used to say. And the crowd knew it. After the preacher made the "If anyone know why these two should not be joined in marriage, speak now" speech.... there was dead silence from the pews for about five seconds.
