You can make this stuff up, but it's not as fun. (via)

Oscar "Blade Runner" Pistorius is an Olympic track hero with two prosthetic legs who is charged with shooting his model girlfriend as she cowered behind a bathroom door. In terms of media coverage, there's a lot to work with. It's big news around the world, but in South Africa, it's huge. So big there's a 24-hour cable channel devoted to covering everything and everyone involved with the trial.

Whenever a trial this big has been going on for while, the people covering it start to get a little nutty. That seems to be the case with the newspaper responsible for a headline layout that amounts to "'I wake up and smell blood' Make your bathroom fun."

Mistakes happen. That would a appear to be the case here, if it weren't for the fact that the bottom half of the paper is an add for a custom door company which is conveniently facing a picture of a jail cell. One of the unfortunate placements may have been a humorous coincidence, but the two of them together is no accident. It's a work of art.
