Did John Hughes not make enough movies before he died to convince high school principals that being a dick never works out? According to the Charleston Gazette, high school senior Katelyn Campbell refused to show up to an assembly at George Washington High in West Virginia, where Christian speaker Pam Stenzel was scheduled to tell students a whole bunch of lies to scare them into not having sex as part of the school's abstinence-only sex ed curriculum. The lies, according to ThinkProgress, reportedly included "condoms aren't safe" (not true, our condoms have never so much as raised their voices at us), and "if you take birth control, your mother probably hates you" (not true, she hates us because she wishes she'd taken birth control instead of giving birth to us).
