On the Wednesday night before his swearing in as Vice President, activists and dancers rallied in front of Mike Pence's Maryland home to protest his horrendous stances on gay rights.

And it was the party of the year.

The party/protest was hosted by Werk for Peace, a grassroots organization that formed in response to the shooting at the Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, "that uses dance to promote peace."

Pence is renting this home in Chevy Chase, Maryland before he moves into the official vice-presidential residence, the United States Naval Observatory, on Friday.

The dancers got literally lit as they passed around glowsticks and brought rainbow flags and suspenders.

At least one protester climbed on top of a car for a very impressive solo.

Pence's harmful record on LGBTQ issues include signing the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which made it legal to discriminate against LGBTQ people in his state of Indiana.

Watch the whole protest party and dance along.
