We probably all have at least one memory from childhood of running around the house and watching something fragile fall in slow motion to the floor before shattering into a million pieces while you wonder if your parents will kick you out of the house and if you have to escape and start over with a new identity. Sometimes objects can be repaired or replaced, but the guilt that comes with breaking something that is important to someone else or critical to your workplace is never fun to endure.
