Most people remember their favorite teachers for their whole lives, as teachers can have a lasting impact on their students' career choices, hobbies, future personalities, or extreme hatred for multiplication tables. Sometimes the teacher who has the harshest reputation around the school for being unreasonably strict or a buzzkill stickler for the rules can actually end up being the most effective, and surprisingly funny educator.
Most of the time, if a student doesn't like a teacher's methods, teachers can let the judgement roll of their backs and remember that part of their job is to be the bigger person. Usually, a third grader who is sad they lied about their pet miniature pony tossing their homework into a frog pond is not the most accurate judge of character. After all, not every kid is going to come to school every morning with a freshly-shined apple for their teacher's desk.
