<p>Congress is officially out on recess for the Fourth of July, and on the fist day of their vacation, a group of Democrats went down to Texas to <a href="https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2019/07/02/ocasio-cortez-says-dispute-with-border-patrol-agents-started-after-one-tried-take-stealth-selfie/?utm_term=.a2e3b3eacf42">see the inhumane immigrant detention </a>centers for themselves.</p><p>Here&#39;s what they saw.</p><h2>Rep. After I forced myself into a cell w/ women&amp;began speaking to them, one of them described their treatment at the hands of officers as &ldquo;psychological warfare&rdquo; - waking them at odd hours for no reason, calling them wh*res, etc. Tell me what about that is due to a &ldquo;lack of funding?&rdquo;</p> </blockquote><div className="ad-splitter"></div><p>The Democrats made their visits to the facilities after it was reported that roughly 9,500 Border Patrol agents are in a Facebook group where they<a href="https://www.propublica.org/article/secret-border-patrol-facebook-group-agents-joke-about-migrant-deaths-post-sexist-memes"> mock migrant deaths and share sexist memes</a>, including violent posts about AOC.</p><p>To President Trump&#39;s friends on <em>Fox and Friends, </em>the horrid conditions these people are being kept in against their will is just like a house party gone awry.</p><p>&quot;Picture yourself, you&#39;re at a house, family of five...maybe you have a big party, you have one hundred people over, and you have two-and-a-half baths,&quot; imagined pro-Trump talking head Brian Kilmeade. &quot;Then after 100 people, it would be a little bit taxed, maybe you got to get an outdoor facility.
