Photographers behaving like creeps is nothing new — but models' ability to call them out on social media is.
A-list fashion photographer Marcus Hyde has been called out by online watchdogs, like the fashion industry watchdog Instagram account Diet Prada, for allegedly trying to bribe an unknown model for nudes in exchange for a photo shoot with him. The story's gotten so much attention, his famous former collaborator Ariana Grande has commented. Still no word from the Kardashians he's worked with, though.
It all started this weekend when a model known as Sunnaya posted on Instagram asking if any photographers would like to shoot with her. Hyde then allegedly DMed Sunnaya and asked her to send him nude photos so he could see if she was "worth it," in exchange for a free photo session. She wrote back that she was only "comfortable shooting lingerie and partial nudity." Hyde allegedly responded, "It's 2k then."
