President Joe Biden delivered a speech to congress on Wednesday night to look back on his first 100 days in office. And as always, Twitter had a lot to say.
The speech certainly contained less fire-and-brimstone drama than the past four years of presidential addresses did, but it did stretch to an hour and four minutes — pretty long for a speech of its kind. Biden told congress and the American public that the government's job is to "prove democracy still works." He covered everything from vaccination progress to tax plans. And the people of Twitter somehow managed to make it funny.
