Nobody wants to be a "Karen," but sometimes you really do have to "speak to a manager..."

Complaining about ridiculously insigificant details in a 1 star, "0 stars if I could" Yelp review is the kind of behavior that set the foundation of the "Karen" character, but there are definitely situations when it's important to speak up. (And no, that doesn't mean calling the police because of a BBQ in the park or a man asking you to put a leash on your dog).

"Locker Room Talk" became a trending topic in 2016, but what exactly is considered appropriate locker room talk? Usually gym locker rooms are pretty quiet, full of people showering, blow-drying their hair, changing, or getting ready for work. They're not exactly the place for intense conversation, and probably not the setting to unload your sexual desires about a stranger within earshot to your "gym clique."

So, when a woman decided to consult the internet's moral compass (Reddit's Am I the As*hole?") about a conflict she ran into while showering in her gym's locker room, people were ready to offer advice.
