New York City experienced a blackout and Broadway stars responded by performing on the streets.

Last night the Upper West Side of Manhattan experience a blackout, and I don't mean the kind of blackout I experience in New York most Saturdays. This was a power outage, which left a chunk of the city without electricity. Subways trains were down, traffic lights were out, and Times Square was void of its bright lights.
