Is there any place more fascinating than the deep ocean, where sharks and skeletons coexist?! Most of us only see the depths of the ocean through the camera work of Planet Earth or if lucky, brief snorkeling excursions on vacation.
Luckily, the people who regularly dive have enough stories to spread around for the rest of us. Since aquatic life is rich and fascinating, and humans can be sinister and love to drop secrets in the ocean, there are a lot of experiences to be had underwater.
In a recent Reddit thread, divers and people who regularly explore the depths of the ocean shared some of their scariest tales from the deep blue. These only confirm that the ocean is its own world completely.
"I dropped my goggles and was trying to reach down in the river and grab it but I pulled out a sheep skull by its sockets. Wasn’t as creepy in hindsight but 10 year old me was scared."
