Can't keep a good octopus down.
This octopus at the Seattle Aquarium was like, "Later, haters." Cephalopods may get chopped up and deep fried into delicious apps, but they are probably smarter than your dog. Being enclosed in a tube full of water WITH NO LID isn't much of an obstacle. All the humans shrieking and pushing it back in are the problem for this little guy.
Even if you think these dudes are the coolest, there is something very ominous about slimy tentacle arms throwing themselves over a barrier at your face. In the background, a video display reads, "What's Beneath..." DUN DUN DUN.
Luckily, the Seattle Aquarium releases their octopi yearly so they can go breed in the Puget Sound and hopefully never do a second stint in the pokey.
