Happy belated National Poetry Month!

Photographer Jason Gardner was visiting a Lower East Side school in Manhattan last month to take portraits of kids and their families who might not otherwise be able to afford them. While there, he saw the incredible poem above, which was written by a participant in an after school program. Gardner snapped a photo and shared it to Facebook.

It's a great reminder that when you write from the heart, spelling doesn't matter. In fact, bad spelling might even improve your writing.
