President Donald Trump took to Twitter once again early Wednesday morning, firing off a volley of tweets to vent his frustration at the growing outrage over his administration's connection to the Russian government and Vladimir Putin. In the wake of National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's resignation (the third Trump staffer to step down because of inappropriate Russian contacts), more and more Americans are calling for an investigation into the cozy relationship between the White House and Moscow. But as the president sees it, this is an attempt by the failing news media to distract Americans from what they really care about—Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign.
This Russian connection non-sense is merely an attempt to cover-up the many mistakes made in Hillary Clinton's losing campaign.— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 15, 2017

The real scandal here is that classified information is illegally given out by "intelligence" like candy. Very un-American!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) February 15, 2017
President Trump's anger may have to do with further revelations published on Tuesday night, revealing that his staff was in constant contact with high-ranking Russian officials through last year's campaign.
This story is only heating up, which means we've got a lot more entertaining tweets coming our way. We'll keep you posted.
