Like a lot of people, 30-year-old Margot Gerester was not happy about Hillary Clinton losing Tuesday's presidential election to Donald Trump, so she decided to go for a hike in the woods of Chappaqua, NY to clear her mind. Little did she know that Clinton was doing the exact same thing.

Gerester, who says she was "heartbroken" about the results of the election, stumbled upon Hillary and Bill walking their dogs in the woods. She posted a photo of herself, Hillary, and her 13-month-old daughter, which Bill took for her.

"It was wonderful to see her,'' Gerester said to TODAY. "She was gracious and kind, and I told her that all day yesterday, all I wanted to do was hug her and tell her how proud I was to bring my daughter to vote for her, and I actually got to tell her that."

Gerester said that her encounter with provided her some comfort and hoped it could do the same for others who are struggling to deal with this week's election results.

"I feel like it was more my chance to bring her comfort by telling her how proud I was to vote for her with my daughter,'' she told TODAY. "It's important to me that people know the reason I took the picture because for a lot of people it seemed like a dark time yesterday. I hope that it brings people hope or comfort."

Feel better?
