At the RNC last week, Melania Trump caused controversy for stealing lines from a speech Michelle Obama gave in 2008. Now Democratic Congresswoman from Ohio Joyce Beatty is stealing something from Melania—her look.

On Thursday, Rep. Joyce Beatty wore the exact same dress Melania Trump wore as she gave her now infamous, partially plagiarized speech at the Republican National Convention. The $2,190 dress by Roksanda worn by the two women is pretty distinct, so people definitely took notice as soon as Representative Beatty took the stage.

Yea, those sleeves are not ones you'd soon forget.

The Ohio Democrat swears that it was not her idea to wear the dress. She told WCMH that her husband actually purchased it for her and encouraged her to wear it. However, she obviously didn't protest.

"Now it’s blowing up all over the nation that it’s the same as Mrs. Trump’s, but I don’t know, I just know that I used my own words when I wore the dress."

It's not exactly a case of "who wore it better" because, let's be honest, both of the women looked great.

The real question is if Beatty wore the dress to serve a heaping dose of shade to the GOP, or if she wore it because, miraculously, more than one woman actually thought those sleeves were a good idea.
