On Tuesday, one of the women who accused Donald Trump of sexual assault is filing a lawsuit against him, according to The Daily Beast. Her lawyer Gloria Allred, who represents three of Trump's accusers (of which there are at least 13), is holding a press conference today in Los Angeles at 11:30 PST to discuss the details.
A different woman, represented by lawyer Lisa Bloom, accused Donald Trump of rape and was scheduled to give a press conference in November. However, the press conference was canceled at the last minute and the lawsuit was dropped. That woman, known only as Jane Doe, claimed that Trump had raped her when she was 13 years old. She canceled the press conference due to fear, according to Politico, because she'd "received threats."
Donald Trump has previously threatened to sue anyone who accused him of sexual harassment. Gloria Allred, in return, said she'd recommend that her three clients cross-complain against him (meaning file lawsuits of their own).
