Congratulations are due to both MSU football player Connor Cook for being drafted to the Oakland Raiders, and also to South Carolina firefighter paramedic Connor Cook for being accidentally tagged in a tweet by the NFL instead of the football-playing Connor Cook.

Not shying away from the viral potential of the NFL Social Media Director's careless error, which they've probably already beenfired for, firefighter paramedic Connor embraced the mix-up.

Here's the 'taste' Connor speaks of in the video.

Well, when I came to work today, I got the biggest shock of my life, I think I can say I’ve ever had. Nothing prepares to be at work and you get the tweet that says you’ve been drafted number 100 overall. And boy, what an honor for a boy from rural Idaho that has very minimal experience. I’m quite nervous, but I’m glad the fine people that I work with and my captain are here to train me.

Firefighter paramedic Connor is a very positive, friendly fella, at least judging by his older tweets.

He deserves every bit of this distinguished honor that the NFL's haphazard use of Twitter has bestowed upon him. Firefighter paramedic Connor is the uplifting PR boost football desperately needs.
