It's jocks vs. nerds—a battle as old as time.

As the head coach of the New England Patriots, Bill Belichick has a lot on his plate. Managing an NFL team and being relentlessly grumpy is remarkably time consuming. Sure, he would like to find the time in his busy schedule to control the weather patterns for the northeastern region of the United States, but that's just not feasible. So, he's forced to rely on those pencil neck geeks in the meteorology trade to tell him what the weather's going to be like so he can factor that into his football and glowering strategies for the week.

Unfortunately, those knuckleheads have proved themselves to be incompetent one time too many, so he called out the weather reporters of the world during a press conference last week. Hey, they had it coming to them!

This did not go over well at the Weather Channel—which happens to be filled with meteorologists—and they did what nerds are wont to do: defend themselves with statistics:
