Your first python flies free, but there's a $25 fee for each additional reptile.

As airplane passengers, we've been trained to ignore weird or unusual things that might indicate we’re all about to die. But when a passenger on a Qantas flight from Australia to Papua New Guinea caught sight of a python dangling from the wing of her plane, she didn't just think, "Well, I'm sure that's fine." She immediately identified it as a snake to the crew and her fellow passengers, and they spent the rest of the flight struggling to understand each other’s hilarious accents as they speculated about how it got there. The scrub python, which probably crawled in through the landing bay, didn’t survive, which is all the proof we need that Australia is terrifying.
