In a post on Wednesday, Reddit user vocivus claimed his grandma thought a very, very old jawbreaker was a piece of “decorative rock.” Unfortunately, there are no photos of the user or his grandma, but he did share photos of the jumbo-sized hard candy, which certainly looks like some sort of antique decoration.

It doesn't look like candy on this side, but turn it...

...and it totally looks like a partially eaten jawbreaker.

A few on the Reddit thread, like ThirdRook, pointed out that old jawbreakers are probably even more difficult to eat and might turn into “solid crystal." But it still seems slightly strange that his grandma would mistake the classic sugar ball for an interior decor piece.

Other users were perplexed that the candy, which was probably left on top of a dusty display shelf panty, wasn’t eaten away by ants.

Some Redditors also used the jawbreaker as an opportunity to engage in tNSFW conversations, because Reddit.

Others didn’t believe it was an actual jawbreaker, so vocivus placed the jawbreaker next to a banana to try and show that it was the real thing.

Now that's a well-balanced meal.

Will vocivus find it in his heart to tell his grandma that her “decorative rock” is actually food? If his grandma is like this grandma, she wouldn’t be heartbroken about it.
