Last Tuesday, a woman named Selena Avalos ordered Domino's chicken wings for lunch, which is already a great story. Instead of chicken wings, she was delivered a box filled with $5,000 in cash.
And she has not been seen since. AND SHE RETURNED IT. Because Selena Avalos is a good person.
According to ABC 7 News, Avalos at first thought she had received bread sticks instead of chicken wings. But when she opened the box, there was a big pile of money, which she rolled around in while taking Instagram pics. Correction: that's what I would do (before returning the money, I swear).
But being a person with morals, Avalos, who is manager at a phone company, contacted Domino's and returned the cash. As a reward, she will receive a year's worth of free pizza from Domino's. And her employer also offered her a week off with pay, which is at least what she deserves.
There are still unanswered questions, like where did the money come from? Why was it in a box? Before returning it, did Avalos make a long pros and cons list to thoroughly weigh both options? No, of course not. Because she is a good person. And so am I, I swear.
