This is doubly offensive because in Saudi Arabia, women aren't allowed to appear in mirrors.

The Saudi Arabian IKEA catalogue is a masterpiece of obviously hidden sexism. Not only are the photoshop jobs incredibly obvious, but it also sends a very confusing message. Women in Saudi Arabia are apparently expected not only to stay home unless accompanied by a husband, brother, or son, but when home they are expected to remain hidden from everyone else in the house. Maybe somewhere out there there's an IKEA catalogue where Saudi women are sneaking into the living room at night to use the furniture when their presence isn't inviting sin onto the L-section couch.
