Parents—your wish has been granted! The American Girl doll company is finally releasing its first boy doll. The director of public relations for American Girl, Julie Parks, told The Huffington Post, “Adding a boy to our lineup has been a number one request for a very, very, very long time." She also said that, in general, both parents and kids request "more experiences, more diversity, more interests."

The boy doll, Logan Everett, will be available on Thursday.

The 18-inch boy doll is named Logan Everett. His story is that he's a drummer for his friend Tenney Grant, a singer-songwriter in Nashville, TN (but not really, because she is still a doll).
