Leave it to the Obama's, the world's most (and only?) genuine power couple, to celebrate Father's Day in the sweetest way possible. The former first family may be out of the spotlight, but if these sweet messages are any indication, they're doing better than ever.
To thank her husband on the big day, Michelle Obama posted a baby photo of a pre-gray haired Barack posing with Malia and Sasha (or as we now know her, Natasha.) Look at that million-dollar smile! Look at Sasha's cheeks!
"Happy #FathersDay @BarackObama," she wrote. "Our daughters may be older and taller now, but they'll always be your little girls. We love you."
Of all that I've done in my life, I'm most proud to be Sasha and Malia's dad. To all those lucky enough to be a dad, Happy Father's Day! https://t.co/ya1YAJignC— Barack Obama (@BarackObama) June 18, 2017
Social media on Father's Day is filled with daughters shouting out their dads on Instagram, but leave it to Barack to turn the message around and find a gracious way to thank his daughters. He posted on Twitter with a sweet response to Michelle's shout-out. "Of all that I've done in my life, I'm most proud to be Sasha and Malia's dad," he wrote. "To all those lucky enough to be a dad, Happy Father's Day!"
As for that other first family, we'll assume they're celebrating Father's Day with their own traditions.
