Kevin Scruggs posted the results of a 12-year-long family tradition he started with his daughter when she was in the first grade, and the outcome is so sweet you might want to grab some tissues before watching.

On each first day of school from grade one to grade 12, Scruggs would sit down his daughter Mackenzie for a short interview about what she was excited about at school that year. The answers ranged from coloring to looking for cute boys depending on her age, and every video ended with a heart-melting "I love you" and "I love you, too." Now that Mackenzie is finally graduating high school, her father concluded the tradition of asking his daughter what she was looking forward to with this video she can always look back on.

This graduation present is so thoughtful that hopefully Mackenzie won't even mind that her awkward pre-teen years are plastered all over the web. We have a feeling that she is cool with it.
