There are messy divorces, and then there are messy divorces. In true soap opera fashion, Reddit user u/assholeexhusband1 found out his wife was cheating when his son walked in on her and the much younger neighbor boy getting down and dirty. Now his marriage is over and his son wants to completely cut contact with his unfaithful mom.

This scorned husband/dad is asking the internet if he's wrong to support his son's choice to banish his mom from his life:

AITA (Am I The As*hole) for supporting my son in wanting to go non-contact with my soon-to-be ex-wife?

He writes:

So this is a pretty simple one I’d think. My wife (39f) and I (39m) are going through an admittedly pretty messy divorce.

I thought everything was fine with our relationship until my son (14m) told me that he walked in on her cheating on me with our next-door neighbor's son (20ish) - it’s been going on for a year now.
