Moms face a lot of pressure these days. On top of the stress of raising the next generation, they also have to ward off constant scrutiny and judgment from mommy-shamers who offer their unsolicited advice non-stop. Plus, it is hard not to compare yourself to other moms—moms who seem to be better at "momming" than you are. The pressure from the Mommy Mafia is real, but truth is, there is no "right way" to raise a baby. So now Dove is celebrating diverse mothers with different parenting styles in their new #RealMoms campaign, because we can't all be June Cleaver.

Meet #RealMoms whose diverse parenting styles shatter stereotypes about motherhood and prove that there are no rules about how to be a parent today. From Cassidy, who is raising her son on a cattle ranch, to Elise, who brings her daughter to breakdance battles – we're so inspired by moms around the country who trust their way.

Earlier this month, a Dove ad that ran in the UK Metro system that sparked debate when it posed the question "Is there a perfect mum?" alongside an artificially rendered woman with perfect hair cradling a baby in her arms.

But of course, the purpose of the billboard was meant start an important discussion.

"The 'Perfect Mum' experiment addresses a real issue in society: images of seemingly perfect parenting in the media and social media are denting mum’s confidence to be herself," said Baby Dove brand manager Marcus Buck. "In reality, there’s no 'right' or 'wrong' way to be a parent, just your way. That's why it's important for parents everywhere to trust their instincts and feel confident in their own parenting abilities, rather than worry about how well others seem to be doing it."

Right on.
Right on.

What all this has to do with soap, I have no idea, but this Dove commercial is so awesome that we will forgive that.
