<p>A parent&#39;s Facebook post is going viral and, in what we hope is the start of a trend, it&#39;s for something good.</p><p>Hayley Booth posted on Facebook about her relationship with her daughter&#39;s stepmother or, as she calls her, her &quot;bonus mom.&quot; According to Booth, her and the &quot;bonus mom&quot; get along perfectly &mdash; and they do it for the sake of their daughter.</p><p>Along with an adorable photo of her daughter on her first day of school with her &quot;two moms,&quot; Booth posted an ode to thoughtful co-parenting. She explains that her strategy is simple: &quot;We just love our daughter.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Seriously, it&#39;s just that simple,&quot; she writes. &quot;No child deserves to be tossed around back and forth, used as a bargaining chip, or to be put in the middle of any adult drama. She even calls out women who <em>aren&#39;t </em>as generous, saying that selfishness is behind any ill will between blended families. &quot;Why would you put your child in the position to feel like they have to choose who they love?&quot; she asks.</p><p>Over 9,000 people have already liked the post so far, and it&#39;s inspired plenty of parents to offer congratulations and share their own co-parenting stories in the comments. &quot;This is what every kid deserves! What awesome parents you all are!&quot; wrote Tina Rodgers. &quot;I totally agree! I raised my children the same way! Their father didn&#39;t stay in their lives long.
