I have little sympathy for Joel Osteen, the multimillionaire televangelist who became one of the most hated people in America after he closed his megachurch during Hurricane Harvey. Oh, and then he told hurricane victims not to have a "poor me attitude" in his sermon on Sunday. Plus, he has a punchable face.
All of these facts make it easy to laugh at the prank that Rick and Morty co-creator Justin Roiland played on Osteen earlier this week.
Roiland, a voiceover artist who plays both Rick and Morty on Rick and Morty, Earl of Lemongrab on Adventure Time, and Oscar on Fish Hooks, lent his talents to the H3 Podcast where he prank called Osteen's "prayer line" on air. But before Roiland could properly troll the person on the other end of the line...things got really, really weird.
