Lipomas may be the most temperamental condition that Dr. Pimple Popper has to deal with. These benign, fatty lumps come in all shapes and sizes, and each one presents its own challenge. Some live right under the surface of the skin and pop out readily, almost like they're under pressure. Others are buried deep within a patient's body, anchoring themselves among the surrounding tissues with long tendrils of tissue. These tenacious blobs can give Dr. Lee a very tough time, but that just makes them more satisfying when they finally pop.

Today's lipoma is a combination of the two. Set deep in the patient's back, it took the Dr. Pimple Popper team a good while to get at it. But once they did, almost the entire thing popped out all at once, and there was much rejoicing.

Tom Petty may not have been thinking about lipomas when he sang, "The Waiting Is the Hardest Part," but he probably was.
